February 12, 2012 – One Leg Rooster

One Leg Rooster will be dropping by (via telephone from North Carolina) Sunday, February 12, 2012 to help re-launch Indie Frontline as a weekly podcast. They’ll be talking about their upcoming CD release, “Foothills Phunk”, as well as the success of their previous CD, “Runnin’ From The Colonel”. Tune in to check out one of the most amazing bands you’ve likely never heard before. You’ll be glad you did. A band with breathtaking ability. One Leg Rooster is one of those bands that you watch to see what they’ll do next.

Guitarist Mickey Floyd leads the band on lead guitars and vocals, bassist Warren Leazer hold down the groove on bass and vocals, and drummer Earl James Bond nails down the beat on drums and vocals. Together, the experience will remind you a bit of Little Feat, with a touch of Allman Brothers thrown in, and a dozen other influences that you won’t be able to put your finger on. As with any great band, One Leg Rooster pays homage to their influences without copying them, and stand on their own as a unique musical experience.
