February 19, 2012 – Windhaven

Windhaven will be dropping by on February 19th to feature a few new songs, including their special tribute to Peggy “Mama Peggy” Chaney, as well as a handful re-mixed and re-mastered versions of songs from their 2011 release “When The Winds Blow”. Tune in to check out Windhaven’s determined slant on “re-inventing the wheel. You’ll be glad you did.

Windhaven features Victoria Sadler on vocals and percussion and Indie Frontline’s very own Wicasta Lovelace on acoustic guitar and vocals. The band was formed to re-examine the possibilities of acoustic music, far removed from its Folk underpinnings. The results are often surprising, and usually refreshing.
